Room picks

Well, it happened- room picks in Walsh were the other day. I ended up in a single which is really nice- apparently it's one of the 4 biggest singles in the dorm. It's on the Bond/Sorin corner, so my window looks out towards Bond. I'm not so keen on that- I had told Mara to pick me one that faced God Quad if possible- but those rooms tend not to be singles, so I ended up with room 238. I'm on the same floor as a lot of the other seniors, really close to Mara and Patricia. It's the first time not on the 4th floor! It should be pretty nice; now I just need to figure out how to decorate!

Yay, I have a single too! Haven't seen the inside of it yet, but I'm sure it's quite tiny. :)

So wait...are you gonna be a senior next year? Holy crap.

well, I guess you're glad that you got back in Walsh. And a single is pretty sweet - which room is Mara's? I thought you guys were getting a quad or something like that. Hope you're feeling better than you were the other day when we were iming. I did a little urban planning research - looks like you might have to move a lot which would be a drawback for me, but maybe not for you. Let me know when your package arrives!
Love you lots,
Mom

Claire- well, yes, I'll be a senior, but I still have a year to go as a "fifth year" (like I'm at Hogwarts or something!) for architecture. As for the single, it sounds pretty nice. I'm thinking about lofting just for the heck of it and maybe getting a tv and futon. I'll wait until I get back on campus to check that out I guess. Now I'll appreciate your room decorating post! I'm thinking of an abroad theme- I can hang my Rome soccer jersey, and some flags and paintings I've done.

Mom- the package came and I was really excited. I went around and told people that my family loved me lol, but I haven't opened it yet. LEt me know when you get your card! We were thinking about getting a quad, but some of the girls we wanted to go in on it with decided they were going to move off or get singles, so we kinda all ended up with singles next to each other. Probably not what I would have preferred, but it'll be fine and probably a really good change from this year in the Lunetta!

Dad will appreciate the second floor - along with any other box carriers.
